Cyberpunk 2077 is full of cars to drive, and throughout playing the game fixers from all over will send you cars you can buy. The first thing you'll notice is the price tag. Some are pretty expensive, and eddies are hard to get in some ways (check out our tips on how to get them quick), but there are still plenty of free cars and motorcycles to get your hands on.
Of course, you have the option to just grab any old car off the street and drive it around. But if you want to have them on-demand, you'll need to collect them. Luckily, none of them are too hard. Oh, and there's a free variant of the fastest car in the game to grab too.
Check here for a list of how to get every other car in Cyberpunk 2077.
Free Cars in Cyberpunk 2077
Archer Hella EC-D 1360
This is the car V starts the game out with. At the start of Act 2, Delamain will destroy it and you'll be without a car for a bit. Check out our guide here on how you get the Hella EC-D 1360 back.
Jackie's Arch
Jackie has a pretty sweet bike, and luckily it's pretty easy to get. All you need to do is the Heroes side job in Act 2. Do not worry about your choices in the side job, you'll always end up with Jackie's Arch.
Apollo "Scorpion"
This bike is given to you free after the Life During Wartime Main Job.
Alvarado" Vato"
You get the Alvarado "Vato" in the Beat on the Brat: The Glen gig. When you go to start the fight, Cesar will wager the car against your 4,000 eddies. All you need to do is win the fight and it's yours. You will of course win the money you put up back, but you'll also have the option to leave Cesar with them if you want.
Delamain No. 21
That's right, you can get your very own Delamain and it won't cost you a dime. All you need to do is the Epistrophy side jobs, which then gives you the Don't Lose Your Mind side job. There are a couple of Delamain variants you'll get with this car, so check out our guide here on that side job for all the details.
Porsche 911 II (930) Turbo
This is actually Johnny Silverhand's car. For all the details on how to get the Porsche 911 (930) Turbo, and more Johnny Silverhand stuff, check out our guide here.
Colby CX410 Butte
This one is a bit of a secret. There's no quest and nobody really points you in its direction. Just make your way out to the Badlands at the Desert Film Set and you'll find the car next to a trailer. Once you hop in, it's yours.
Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech
This is the car you've definitely seen before. V is driving this in all of the advertising for Cyberpunk 2077, so it's definitely the most iconic from the game. Luckily, it's free too!
To get the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech, all you need to do is complete the gig Life's Work, which is found in the southeast portion of The Glen in Heywood. After you do that, wait three in-game days and you'll be given the side job Sex on Wheels. Do that side job and it's yours.
Thorton Mackinaw "Beast"
Calling this thing a Beast is apt, as it is huge. You get the Thorton Mackinaw "Beast" by doing all the races in the The Beast in Me side jobs with Claire. Make your way through the final race, and Claire gives you the Mackinaw "Beast" for free.
Quadra Type-66 "Cthulhu"
This can be free, if you want it. During the final race in The Beast in Me side jobs with Claire, you'll need to let Sampson live. Afterward, he'll give you a call and give you the Quadra Type-66 "Cthulhu" for free. If you don't let him live, it will be available to buy for $76,000.
Thornton Galena “Rattler”
This one is unique in that it is only available to those that chose the Nomad lifepath. You'll get the Thornton Galena “Rattler” when you complete the These Boots are Made for Walkin' side job.
Arch Nazare “Itsumade”
You get the Arch Nazaré “Itsumade” for completing the Highwayman side job. To get The Highwayman side job, you need to go to the very southeastern portion of Rancho Coronado to that weapon shop. Behind the gun shop is a garage door, open it. Look at the computer and read the only message on it. That starts the quest. It's a puzzle to figure out yourself, but if you want to just get the bike, check this reddit post out.
Rayfield Caliburn (Black)
This is the fastest car in the game and it's just sitting there waiting for you to nab it. At the white marker on the map above, you'll see the entrance to a tunnel. Travel along it a fair ways until you go past the area that you fought the Wraiths with Panam, if you chose to do that in the Ghost Town main job. Just beyond it will be a shipping container with the free car inside.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Free Cars
With the expansion out now, we have a couple more free cars available.
Tanishi T400
Given to you not long after arriving in Dogtown for the expansion, the Tanishi is a workmanlike car designed for the narrow streets of Dogtown.
The Sport R-7 “Charon”
Also in Dogtown there are several cars that you can get. The speedy and sporty Sport R-7 Charon is one of those, and you can get it for completing the side job Moving Heat. This job can pop up after the Phantom Liberty main mission Firestarter.
The Sport R-7 "Sterling"
If you want a different look on the Sport R-7, you'll need to finish all of Mr. Hands gigs in Dogtown, as Sterling is the reward from him after you finish all the gigs in Dogtown.
All in all, thirteen free cars to choose from in the base game, and three more in the expansion. Some of them are pretty cool, and personally some of my favorite. So, if you're worried you'll never have the eddies for a sweet ride, worry no longer!
