Last year, Neverending Inc launched a Kickstarter for Anansi's Tapestry of Lives. It is an extensive D&D 5e supplement, providing GMs with hundreds of unique NPCs and magic items to use in their games.
Now, that book is available in Early Access on Drivethru RPG.
Anansi's Tapestry of Lives' Early Access Release
According to an official press release, Anansi's Tapestry of Lives is available in PDF form right now on Drivethru RPG. This is an early version of the book, sitting at 318 pages, albeit with some minor grammar issues and typos.
Anansi's Tapestry of Lives is a 5e supplement dedicated to NPCs and GM resources. Each NPC in the book has its own intro monologue, bio, personality, driving goal, and quirk. There are also additional roll tables, inventories, and magic items.
The campaign for the book garnered a lot of creative talent. Major TTRPG writers contributed to the book, including Eberron creator Keith Baker and AP mainstay Jasmine Bhullar.
Furthermore, the campaign included an NPC voices app. The app would play recordings of the NPC intro monologues, performed by several beloved voice actors including Critical Role's Luis Carazo, Robbie Daymond, and Michelle Nguyen.
If you purchase the early access version of Anansi's Tapestry of Lives, you will get access to the full version once it is available later this August. The full version of the book will include 30 pages of additional content, bringing the book's total page number to 350.
As for what is in those extra 30 pages, a representative at Neverending said "quite a bit." In addition to four new NPCs, the new content will include more magic items, increasing the total from 40 to 60, as well as brand new side quests.
The writers credited with this new content for Anansi's Tapestry of Lives are no slouches either. They include the Ennie-award-winning Daniel Kwan (Avatar Legends, Pathfinder Tian Xia), Graem Barber ( Cyberpunk, Pathfinder), Sen-Foong Lim (The Revenant Society), and Aliza Pearl.
In addition, another voice actor's performance will be coming to the voice app. Jesse Inocalla is well known as the voice of Soren on the Netflix animated series The Dragon Prince.
