The next season of Apex Legends titled "Resurrection" is right around the corner, and today Respawn and EA have released a new trailer showing its gameplay.
Of course, the lion's share of the trailer is represented by the overhaul of Revenant, which also gives the season its name. We get to see his new looks and terrifying new abilities.
Yet, there's more to come with the season, which will officially launch on August 8, including a new season for ranked, an entirely new battle pass with plenty of goodies to unlock, mixtape on Broken Moon, the Death Dynasty collection event, and more.
On top of that, players will be able to enjoy double XP in Battle Royale between August 8 and August 15, and in Mixtape between August 15 and August 22. Incidentally, Revenant will be unlocked for all players for the whole duration of the season and you can complete a series of challenges to unlock him permanently.
You can check out the trailer of Resurrection below.
Apex Legends is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Origin and Steam. It's free-to-play, so you can jump in without paying an entry fee, but of course, it features plenty of inevitable optional microtransactions.
At the moment, the game is still in its season 17 for a few days. If you're curious about it, you can check out the legend that it added to the roster, Ballistic in his own cinematic trailer, alongside its gameplay trailer.
