Once you've grasped the basics of Below the Stone, you'll turn your attention to exploring the Map and finding the items you need to survive the tougher areas. Read on to find out where you can reliably find the items you need for making new equipment!
Where to Find Below the Stone Resources
Here is a list of all of the Resources we've found and where you can find them!
Where to Find Amethyst Shards
Amethyst Shards can be found by destroying the pinkish-purple ore in Layer 1 with Dynamite. They can also be found as loot in chests in Layer 1.
Where to Find Apple
Apple can be found as loot in Layer 1, typically from jars or containers in Dungeons.
Where to Find Blue Cap
Blue Cap can be found in the outer edges of Layer 1 and in Jellyfish Caves in Layer 1.
Where to Find Bone
Bone can be found as loot from destroying bones and from killing Skeletons on Layer 1. You can also find them in Spider Nests on the Map.
Where to Find Coal
Coal can typically be found as ore towards the center of Layer 1, typically at coordinates 100 or lower. It can also be purchased from the Goblin.
Where to Find Cooked Ham
Cooked Ham can be received as loot for killing Hogs in Layer 1.
Where to Find Copper Ore
Copper Ore can be found as loot slightly outside of the center of Layer 1, all the way to the outer edges.
Where to Find Corbomyte Ore
Corbomyte Ore can be found throughout Layer 1, but only if you've accepted a quest to collect Corbomyte Ore.
As a Quest Ore, Corbomyte Ore will not actually appear in your inventory. You cannot keep any excess you find; Corbomyte Ore is strictly reserved as a Quest item.
Where to Find Crossbow Bolt
Crossbow Bolts can be acquired by killing Skeleton Archers. You can also Craft them at the Blacksmith or purchase them from the Goblin.
Where to Find Disposable Rock Radar
Disposable Rock Radar can be found as loot in chests in Layer 1. When activated, it will highlight the nearest open cave area on your Map.
Where to Find Dwarven Stout
Dwarven Stout can be found as loot in chests in Layer 1.
Where to Find Emerald Shards
Emerald Shards can be found as loot in chests in Layer 1.
Where to Find Fossil
Fossils can rarely be found in the walls throughout Layer 1.
Where to Find Ghostveil
Ghostveil can be found in Spider Nests and Slime Caves in Layer 1. They can also drop as loot from chests.
Where to Find Glow Cap
Glow Cap can be found as loot in chests in Layer 1.
Where to Find Gloweed
Gloweed can be found throughout Normal Caves in Layer 1.
If you have a Quest to collect Gloweed, you will not be able to access it in your inventory until you've completed the Quest. Once you have, any additional Gloweed will go into your inventory like normal.
Where to Find Gold Key
Gold Keys can be found as loot in normal chests in Layer 1. You can also get one by killing a Mimic. They are required to open up the larger, locked chests.
Where to Find Guano
Guano can be found by killing Bats.
Where to Find Iron Ore
Iron Ore can be found in the outer edges of Layer 1, typically once you go beyond 200 on the coordinates listed on the Map.
Where to Find Kobold Head
Kolbold Heads can be found as a rare drop from killing Kobolds.
Where to Find Lava Fern
Lava Fern can be found as loot in chests in Layer 1.
Where to Find Lead Ore
Lead Ore can rarely be found in the outer edges of Layer 1. It can also be found in chests.
Where to Find Linen Cloth
Linen Cloth can be found as loot in chests and by destroying pots and crates in both Kobold Dungeons and Skeleton Dungeons.
Where to Find Luminous Fungus
Luminous Fungus can be acquired by killing Purple Mushrooms.
Where to Find Mushroom Cap
Mushroom Caps can be found throughout the Normal Caves in Layer 1.
Where to Find Potato
Potatoes can be found by killing Tatties throughout Layer 1.
Where to Find Prismium Ore
Prismium Ore can be found throughout Layer 1, but only if you have a Quest to collect Prismium Ore.
As a Quest Ore, you cannot keep Prismium Ore. It does not get stored in your inventory, so there's no reason to collect any extra once you hit your goal.
Where to Find Purerose
Purerose can be found as loot in chests in Layer 1. It can rarely be found on the ground.
Where to Find Rosalite Ore
Rosalite Ore can be found throughout Layer 1 if you've accepted a quest to collect Rosalite Ore.
This is a Quest Ore, which means that it will not actually go into your inventory when you collect it. You cannot keep any you find, even if you pick up extra after completing your Quest goal.
Where to Find Sapphire Shards
Sapphire Shards can be found as loot in chests in Layer 1.
Where to Find Shotgun Shell
Shotgun Shells can be found as loot in chests in Layer 1.
Where to Find Slime Ball
Slime Balls can be acquired by killing Slimes in Layer 1. You can also get it from destroying containers.
Where to Find Spider Egg
Spider Eggs can be found by killing Spiders and destroying Spider Nests in Layer 1.
Where to Find Spider Leg
Spider Legs can be found by killing Spiders in Layer 1.
Where to Find Spore Wort
Spore Wort can be found in Jellyfish Caves in Layer 1. It can also be found by destroying pots in areas such as the Ruins.
Where to Find Tin Ore
Tin Ore can be found throughout the entirety of Layer 1.
Where to Find Wood
Wood can be found by destroying crates and wooden objects in Layer 1.
