How Coral Island Building Works

Getting your first Coral Island Building won't be easy -- you'll have to gather a fair amount of Wood, Stone, and Gold before you can even consider placing one. You'll also need to clear the land where you intend to place it. In some cases, you may need to upgrade your Tools to destroy some of the larger rocks and stumps.

Buildings are purchased at the Carpenter and will take at least 1 Day for the Carpenter to build in most cases. You'll also need to supply the Building materials (such as Wood, Stone, and Bronze Bars) and pay a fee in Gold. You can purchase materials from the Carpenter if you need to, although this isn't a good idea in terms of cost. You can also purchase a limited amount of Furniture items to decorate your home.

Coral Island Building List

Here is a list of every Coral Island Building we've found so far.

House Stage I

• Building Cost -  50 Wood, 20 Stone
• Function - Cleans up your House and allows you to place and move Furniture. The quest "Home Sweet Home" is given to you on your first day, instructing you to provide materials to the Carpenter to fix your House.

House Stage II

• Building Cost -  100 Wood, 50 Stone, 5 Bronze Bar, 5 Silver Bar, 5,000 Gold
• Function - Adds a Kitchen for Cooking and more interior space.

Barn Level I

• Building Cost -  200 Wood, 100 Stone, 5 Bronze Bar, 10 Fiber, 3,000 Gold, 1 Day
• Function - Provides housing for 4 Animals.

Coop Level I

• Building Cost - 100 Wood, 50 Stone, 5 Bronze Bar, 10 Fiber, 2,000 Gold, 1 Day
• Function - Provides housing for 4 Animals.

Mill

• Building Cost -  20 Scrap, 50 Wood, 2 Bronze Bar, 2,000 Gold, 1 Day
• Function - Allows the processing of Grain.
  • Based on our testing, the Mill does not appear to be functioning properly as of Early Access v0.1 -49002.

Silo

• Building Cost -  100 Scrap, 300 Stone, 2 Silver Bar, 2,500 Gold, 1 Day
• Function - Stores Hay for your Animals.

Stable

• Building Cost -  50 Scrap, 200 Stone, 5 Silver Bar, 15,000 Gold, 1 Day
• Function - Provides housing for 1 Horse.

Well

• Building Cost -  50 Stone, 10 Sandstone, 2 Bronze Bar, 2,000 Gold, 1 Day
• Function - Provides a source of water for Farming.
