In this Coral Island Foraging Guide, we'll tell you how Foraging works and how you can use it to find some Energy-restoring Food for free!
How the Coral Island Foraging Skill Works
Coral Island Foraging is essential to making the most out of your first few days. While you can get Food to keep your Energy up with Farming, it takes time for those Crops to grow; Foraging gives you immediate access to Energy-restoring items. Here's the short of it:
- Scavengable items will respawn every day, so it's always a good idea to get some if you have the time.
- You can find a large number of items in the Forest near the Caverns and in the north in general.
- Scavengable items can have quality ratings just like Crops. Higher-quality items will restore more Health and Energy.
How to Increase Your Foraging Skill in Coral Island
You can increase the Foraging Skill in Coral Island by foraging wild plants and gathering wood from trees and the ground.

Best Coral Island Foraging Skill to Take First
The best Coral Island Foraging Skill to take first is Double Foraging. Increased sprinting speed isn't very useful when you can dash endlessly and the bonuses of Exceptional Cutter are too small to be really worthwhile in the early game.
