Cult of the Lamb Crown Upgrades

Our next part of the Cult of the Lamb Crown and Fleeces Guide will cover upgrades to the Crown that give you unique powers.

Resurrection

When you are killed on a Crusade, you can sacrifice a Follower to be resurrected and continue the run with 1 Red Heart of health.

The Hunger

Once a day, eat a meal to receive a Blue Heart.

Omnipresence

Hold a button (Q on PC) while on a Crusade and you can Escape and return back to the Cult in the middle of a run. You may lose 15% of your items as a result.

Darkness Within

Start every run with a Diseased Heart.

How to Upgrade the Crown in Cult of the Lamb

You can upgrade the Crown in Cult of the Lamb by defeating the four Bishops. Each Bishop will give you a Heart of the Heretic which can be expended on one of these four upgrades.

What Crown Upgrade Should I Take First?

You should take the Omnipresence Crown Upgrade first -- it allows you to leave a run early if you don't think you'll survive the next room. As an added bonus, you can leave right at the start of a run if you don't like the Weapon or Curse that was randomly given to you.

Cult of the Lamb Fleece Upgrades

Golden Fleece

Damage increases after each kill, but the bonus resets when you take a hit. You also take double damage.

Fleece of the Glass Cannon

Curses cost 1/2 Fervour and deal double damage, but your melee damage and health are cut in half.

Fleece of the Diseased Heart

Get a Diseased Heart every time a Tarot Card is drawn. However, you have a maximum of 1 Diseased Heart and you'll lose 100% of your items if you die.

Fleece of the Fates

Automatically receive 4 Tarot Cards at the start of a run. You cannot draw any additional Tarot Cards.

Fleece of Fragile Fortitude

All Hearts will be replaced with 1.5x the amount in Blue Hearts. For example, if you have 4 Red Hearts as your default health, you'll start a run with a total of 6 Blue Hearts.

How to Upgrade the Fleece in Cult of the Lamb

You can upgrade the Fleece in Cult of the Lamb by getting four pieces of a Holy Talisman.

How to Get Holy Talisman Pieces in Cult of the Lamb

There are four ways to get pieces of a Holy Talisman:

  1. Giving Fish to The Fisherman in Pilgrim's Passage
  2. Interacting with the Moon icon at various Map locations, starting with Pilgrim's Passage. A warning -- each subsequent deal will have a higher price.
  3. Giving Mushrooms to Sozo. This also is how you unlock the Brainwashing Ritual.
  4. Sacrificing Followers to Midas in Mida's Cave.
