Cyberpunk 2077

In this guide, we'll help you with all your Cyberpunk 2077 money woes - with tips and tricks on how to quickly earn Eurodollars in this blockbuster RPG that gives you a ton of choice. Here are our best tips for earning eddies fast.

The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is a frightening one. Filled with despair, death, and a desperation for money in all its forms, it can be a deadly place. Luckily, you are one of the few who can get filthy stinking rich off it. If you need some Eurodollars for cars, weapons, implants—or perhaps the more unsavory things—we've got you covered.

Cyberpunk 2077's Side Activities

Cyberpunk 2077's side activities come in a few main forms. Checking the minimap once you are let free to wander around the city will point some of them out. The color of the icon is a good way of differentiating what it is.

  • White has nothing to do with missions and usually indicates a service of some kind
  • Light blue indicates something involved with the NCPD or a fixer
  • Dark blue indicates a fast-travel system
  • Yellow indicates a gig or mission.

First up is gigs: These are essentially Cyberpunk 2077's side quests.

They are a good way of getting experience, items and—most importantly—Eurodollars. The caveat with all of these side activities is, even if they don't reward cash, they are still worth doing as you can sell the gear you can pick up.

These markers are a guide writers nightmare

Assault in Progress markers are also worth checking out, as are practically all missions markers you can find. Find the Assault in Progress markers on the map and take out the enemies in that area. After they're down, loot them. Where the blue marker is will be a small chest of some kind containing good gear. Grab it and sell it on.

This moves us to the next point, sell everything you possibly can. The game grants you a rather large inventory, so load it up with stuff and sell that at the nearest location that will take it. You can pretty much take whatever you want from any location without hassle. The big money is in the killing of enemies though.

Doing side activities is a good way of killing as many enemies as possible. Grab their guns and loot their bodies to grab everything you can.

You can also grab the Pack Mule perk under Athletics to add an extra 60 to your carry weight—or use vehicles as a way of storing extras. Get your Pack Mule and car going and drop them all off for a huge surplus of Eurodollars.

Helping the NCPD fight crime and completing the main missions will also develop your bank account, so you should do a healthy amount of that too. There's also Cyberpunk 2077 Achievements tied to completing these gigs and missions!

Cyberpunk 2077 - Hacking for Eurodollars

Perhaps one of the easiest ways of making some cash is by effectively committing a Breach Protocol. If you'd like to figure out the best method for hacking and how to do it, check out our guide coming soon. Unfortunately, the location of hacks aren't pinged on the map and can only be found on the minimap. Whilst getting money this way is good, it is not reliable.

Wander around the streets using your special vision to ping whatever you can. Occasionally, a red dot will appear on the minimap, signaling you can hack your way into a system. Do it successfully to gain a chunk of money straight into your account.

Cyberpunk 2077 - Crafting

Finally, this moves us to the best way of getting Eurodollars in Cyberpunk 2077: crafting.

Junk you find around the world is typically not worth much. Crafted items are. One great way of earning money fast is by picking the Scrapper perk under the Crafting ability tree, which turns all your junk into components, saving inventory space. Then, from here, go into your crafting menu and build whatever you possibly can with all of the components you acquire. Sell it on and make a huge profit.

If you are looking for money from the start of the game, grab Pack Mule, Scrapper, and a few other perks that make crafting better. Go around completing missions, killing bad guys and hacking whatever you can whilst hoovering up anything not nailed down. After a while, equip whatever is the best and sell everything in your inventory to get your equipment space back down. Rinse and repeat until you have so much money, you won't know what to do with it.

Cyberpunk 2077 Money - What to Do With Your Eurodollars

Given how quickly you burn through the efficiency of equipment, it doesn't really make sense to invest in your weapons until your power starts to stagnate. Instead of buying guns and armor, you should simply loot what you can to upgrade yourself. Instead, you should use that money to buy new cars, solve new missions, and buy expensive implants.

These seem to be a much better choice and don't get outclassed almost immediately like guns do. There are a finite amount of vehicles and unlocking them all gets you a nice shiny achievement/trophy.

And that's a few way of making a lot of money fairly early on. There doesn't seem to be one easy fix to get a lot, but combining all of these ideas together will have you raking in tens of thousands at a time. Good luck out there in Night City
