Cyberpunk 2077

Right around the time after you complete "The Heist" quest, you’ll suddenly find yourself missing your car. This will be easy to recognize as the car icon on your HUD (bottom left of your screen) will turn red. Quite annoying, unless you fancy running or carjacking everything and everyone in sight. Fortunately, getting your car back just takes a bit of time and effort.

First things first, go ahead and make “Human Nature” your active quest. It will want you to go to a parking garage in the Watson district. If you’re without wheels, you can always take the blue-marked fast travel points, or you can try carjacking a poor motorist near you. Some cars take a higher level of Body attribute to carjack, but eventually, you’ll find a scrawny person and take their car.

Want to learn more about the Body attribute? We've got you covered.

When you get to the parking garage, hop in your ride. It might seem sweet for a second, but a rogue Delamain car will come smashing through to bust up your ride. After you talk with Johnny a bit, hop out of your car and read the message from Delamain.

After reading Delamain’s message, you’ll be transferred to a new quest called "Tune Up." Human Nature will still remain as a quest in your journal, but it will simply ask you to wait for your car to be repaired. After some testing, it seems that no amount of in-game time skipping will result in your car being repaired.

Your Car Cyberpunk

Either way, go about your normal gameplay, and before too long you'll get a message from your car (Thorton Galena 80845) with a set of coordinates, starting the side job "These Boots Are Made For Walkin." Head out to the coordinates to find the ol' gal sitting in a scrapheap, but fixed up and functional. You'll be greeted by the person who fixed her up and given a choice.

Take the Car - "They're my wheels. That's That." You'll threaten Lana with force to take your car, and that's that, she's all yours again.

Give the Car Away - "You can keep the car." You'll let Lana keep the wheels, and she can escape the place she hates so much.

Buy the car - "$100 Buy the car off you." Pay Lana enough to fix up another car, and get your beloved ride back.

Choicewise, it doesn't affect much other than getting your car back. That and Johnny says something nice if you let her keep it.

While you wait for your car to return, it’s a good idea to continue the "Tune Up" quest by heading to Delamain HQ in Vista Del Rey, as it will open up a pretty large series of quests that will net you some serious Street Cred. Enter Delamain HQ, talk to the receptionist, follow the drone, and take the tour of the factory, and then agree to help out Delamain from his rogue taxi problem. This will transition the quest to being named “Epistrophy,” where you can hunt down and search for all of Delamain’s cars. It’s well worth the time, and it nets you some nice benefits for completing them.
