CD Projekt Red has released the Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.1 patch notes, giving us a glimpse of what we can expect when the free update lands tomorrow.
Scheduled to arrive alongside the game's Ultimate Edition, which will collect both the base game and the Phantom Liberty expansion, update 2.1 is free for all players.
As detailed during the update 2.1 livestream, the update will add a working metro system for V to use, as well as new accessibility options and much more.
First up, you're getting the NCART metro, which adds 19 metro stations across 5 lines for V to travel on. You can either fast travel to each station or ride the metro and enjoy the journey.
In addition, you can now invite your love interest to hang out at your apartment, which is an infinitely repeatable activity you can access when your romance story with a character has finished.
The radio is now accessible on foot as well as in vehicles, too, thanks to the Radioport feature. This feature will also switch to the car radio as soon as you enter a vehicle, and will stop when quest-specific music is playing.
Once you've finished "The Beast In Me", new replayable races will now be available, and if you want to get a new perspective on Night City, you can use some of the new sightseeing binoculars, which have been added in "various scenic spots".
Tons of other changes and additions, including improved quests and open-world activities, new HUD customization options, and accessibility tweaks like bigger interface fonts and disabling the timer in the Breach Protocol minigame, have also been introduced.
