Diablo 4's Season of Blood is in full swing, there are still new elements coming down the line, including the Abattoir of Zir and Malignant Rigs.
Blizzard showcased them during the Campfire Chat at BlizzCon 2023, but they have now released a video explaining how they'll work in more detail.
The Abattoir of Zir will be released with update 1.2.3 on December 5, and it's an endgame event that is supposed to be extremely challenging for players.
Once you've finished the seasonal journey, you'll be able to go to the Occultist and craft a Bloodforged Sigil. Using that will open a blood portal that will grant you access to the Abattoir.
If you're wondering what an "Abattoir" is, it's a more obscure way to say "Slaughterhouse" and that's supposed to represent the dungeon's difficulty.
Yet, completing the dungeon will grant you a powerful Tear of Blood glyph and the ability to craft a new Bloodforged Sigil one tier higher than the one you just completed.
Yet, before players challenge the Abattoir of Zir, they'll be able to power themselves up with the Malignant rings that bring back five of the powers (one per class) from the Season of the Malignant, rebalanced and tweaked to work with the current game.
They will be released in version 1.2.2 on November 7. You'll be able to get them after you get to tier 3 and you can farm them by killing Varshan.
Diablo 4 is currently available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

During BlizzCon, we also saw the reveal of the first expansion of the game, Vessel of Hared, which will be released in late 2024 and will bring players to the jungles of Nahantu.
