Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Goku's Next Journey DLC

Today, during the celebrations of the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hours 2024 in Los Angeles, Bandai Namco announced the next DLC coming for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot.

The new DLC is coming in February and will be the third of the Season Pass 2 following Bardock: Alone Against Fate and The 23rd World Tournament

It's titled "Goku's Next Journey" and it's all about the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament. Veterans of the series will know that this means Goku's confrontation with Uub.

The trailer, which you can watch below, provides a look at the story which looks to be following remarkably well the events from the end of the Dragon Ball Z anime series.

It'll certainly represent a nostalgia rush for many fans, especially considering Uub's nature.

While this DLC reproduces the end of the Dragon Ball Z story, we don't really know whether it'll be the last DLC coming for the game.

It'll represent the end of the second season pass, but Bandai Namco has been known for revealing new season passes and DLCs several years after a game's release, especially for games based on anime.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is currently available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. If you'd like a copy, you can grab one on Amazon

Incidentally, during the same event, we also a brand-new trailer of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, which is the new game of the Budokai Tenkaichi series.

We also saw the announcement that Rollback Netcode and PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions for Dragon Ball FighterZ will come "very soon." Bandai Namco is currently taking care of the final adjustments before a release date is officially announcement, but it should come very soon.
