Horror developer and publisher DreadXP had quite a few reveals to share during today's Indie Horror Showcase, including new games, updates, and more.
The first is the first-person brawler Hellpunk, which DreadXP will publish and developed by Phillsonic Games.
It's described as a "gore-soaked high-octane dance of death" and you can see the brief trailer below, showing exactly that. Yes. I made a rhyme.
Next on the menu is the anime-inspired horror visual novel Sucker for Love: Date to Die For by Akabaka.
It got a release date, and you'll never guess. Yes. You actually guessed. It's February 14, 2024, Valentine's Day.
The next game in the Sylvio series by Stroboskop has been announced and it's Sylvio: Black Waters, coming soon on Steam.
The game is a first-person exploration horror that has the player stranded on an alien planet, tasked to find out the truth by witnessing the disturbing past.
My Friendly Neighborhood, which has absolutely nothing to do with Miyazaki or Studio Ghibli, will receive an update titled NeighborHorde.
It's basically a Mercenaries mode and it's coming out tomorrow, October 20.
Lovely Hellplace's open-world horror RPG Dread Delusion, which is currently in early access, also got an update, and it's all about skeletons raising from the grave.
It's aptly titled "Rise of the Skeletons."
We then get the first look at Creepshow, a brand new game announced almost a year ago that for now will remain mysterious besides the fact that it comes with a rather stylish (in a creepy way) art style.
You can check out the trailer below.
Last, but not least, is the announcement of Amanda the Adventurer 2, a sequel to Amanda the Adventurer by MANGLEDmaw Games.
While not many details were shared, we now know that the game is in development and is coming to Steam down the line.
