Every Upcoming Dungeons & Dragons Release Date

Dungeons & Dragons has absolutely boomed in the past few years, and of course, it was no small beast before that. While there were only 3 books published in 2015, the year after Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition was released, Wizards of the Coast have been speeding up. With so much D&D 5e content releasing every few months it can be difficult to keep track of so we've collected together the most recent releases, as well as everything that's on the horizon.

Every Upcoming Dungeons & Dragons Book 2024

Throughout 2024 and into 2025 Dungeons & Dragons will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary. Below are all of the announced Dungeons & Dragons titles for 2024.

Descent Into The Lost Caverns Of Tsojcanth

This is a short-form adventure based on the Lost Caverns Of Tsojcanth Adventure Module from Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition. Announced at the 50 Years of D&D Panel at PAX Unplugged 2023 this will be one of a series of short adventures that are designed to play in a single sitting. There is also a tournament scoring system so you can see how you compared to other groups. There is no release date for Descent Into The Lost Caverns Of Tsojcanth at this time

Vecna: Eve of Ruin

This adventure is meant to be a thrilling multiverse spanning story but specifically a 50th anniversary special. This book will feature all kinds of iconic D&D characters that longtime fans of the franchise will be aware of. You will not only revisit places that have already appeared in 5th edition, but also ones that haven't appeared in D&D for many years. Vecna: Eve of Ruin was announced at the PAX Unplugged 50 Years of D&D panel and will release in 2024.

 Dungeons & Dragons 2024 Core Rulebooks

In 2024 Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition is getting a full refresh, while keeping the 5th Edition name there will be a new Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master Guide, and Monster Manual released. These new Core Rulebooks are filled with updated information including new way to create characters, tools for DMs to run games, and rebalances on monsters of all CRs. Announced at the 50 Years of D&D Panel at PAX Unplugged 2023 the Dungeons & Dragons 2024 Core Rulebook will be releasedin 2024.

Quest From The Infinite Staircase

Quests From The Infinite Staircase is a new anthology book of adventures. It will be similar to Tales from the Yawning Portal. The book will have a number of overarching themes, the first of which is the character on the cover who has yet to be received and that the adventures would tie to the Infinite Staircase. The adventures contained within will also be updates of previous adventures from Dungeons & Dragons' long history. At the 50 Years of D&D Panel at PAX Unplugged 2023 Quests From The Infinite Staircase was announced.
