In our Fae Farm Critter Catching guide, we'll tell you how Critter Catching works and how you can quickly level up the Critter Catching Skill!

Fae Farm isn't just about Farming -- you can also run around the Map and go Fishing or swing your Critter Net and catch some Bugs and Frogs. Keep reading to learn the basics of how Critter Catching works!

How Fae Farm Critter Catching Works

Fae Farm Critter Catching works much like Bug Catching does in other games -- you can sneak up (or just run up) to a Critter, swing your Critter Net, and you'll catch it.

That said, you're not guaranteed to catch a Critter every time you swing your net. Some Critters -- especially those in the Fae realm -- have special powers that allow them to teleport away or shield themselves. Other Critters (such as Frogs) are highly nimble and you may simply miss.

As I said in our Farming Guide, you'll want to keep your eyes open for Frogs. They're highly valuable for Fertilizer production and it will save you a lot of money to Craft Fertilizer instead of buying it. You should always chase down a Frog if you see one!

Remember, it's Critter Catching, not Bug Catching -- you can also snag Frogs, Snails, and Crabs with your Critter Net.

Best Way to Level Up Critter Catching in Fae Farm

The best way to level up Critter Catching is to run around the Map from place to place and catching every Critter that you can find. You'll run out of time before you run out of things to catch as long as you keep moving.

As with many other things in Fae Farm, it takes time for new Critters to respawn. Don't waste your time hanging around one area -- it's much better to keep moving around the island so you never have to wait for something to respawn.
