Fae Farm is a fun Farming RPG in its own right -- you can run around the world catching Critters, raising Animals, and Farming Crops. You can share the experience with your friends in Multiplayer, too, but there are some limitations -- read on to learn how Multiplayer works!

How to Play Fae Farm Multiplayer

1. One player must host the game by clicking on the Multiplayer icon in the menu.
2. The Host must then invite other players through Steam, their Phoenix Labs account, or their console's friend system.
3. The other players can then join the game and you can play together.

How Fae Farm Multiplayer Works

Fae Farm Multiplayer is a little different than the usual game. Here are the important things you need to know about the online Multiplayer experience.

• There is a maximum of four players in a game.
• You cannot pause the game.
• Anyone joining a Host will have to create a new character.
• Players will get Wings and basic Tools based on the Host's progress.
  • However, Tool Progression does not carry over. Even if the Host has Diamond Tools, any additional players joining will have to upgrade their Tools.
• All progress made is saved for joined characters as far as we can tell.
• Players will have to pick up any Decoration Recipes again.
• All activated Wayshrines on the Map are available to everyone.
• All activated Wayshrines in Dungeons are available to everyone.
• All players can access Storage.
• All players can harvest Animals.
• Gold Florins (Money) is shared between all players.
• Anyone can Sleep and end the day for everyone.
• Some, but not all, Quest progress is shared.
• Newly-joining players will not gain the House Coziness benefits until they have slept for at least 1 day.
• Players cannot join a game at will; they have to be invited.
• The Host can kick any player at any time if needed.

Unfortunately, there appear to be very few protections against griefing or stealing -- make sure you only invite people you trust into your Multiplayer games!
