In Final Fantasy XVI you'll be able to explore the world as Clive and his party. As you progress through the story you'll get to meet new people of Valisthea and visit new places. As is regular form with any RPG though, a number of these people will also have different tasks for Clive to complete. In this Final Fantasy XVI All Side Quest guide we'll go over all of the Side Quests, how to unlock them, and what their rewards are.
When do Side Quests first appear in Final Fantasy XVI?
After speaking to Otto as part of the Righting Wrongs Main Scenario you'll unlock Alliant Reports. From here a number of quest markers will appear around your map, these will either be green exclamation marks for regular side quests or green plus signs that will earn Clive a more permanent benefit of some kind.
Side Quests in Final Fantasy XVI will unlock as you progress further in the story, it's recommended that as any quest appears that you complete it. There are certain quests that have prerequisites based on previous quests that need to be completed. Some of these are obvious in their names such as Blacksmith's Blues II only being available after completing Blacksmith's Blues, but other quest chains and requirements are more obscure.
