In this guide, we'll tell you how the Forever Skies Map works and where you can find the Location Radar item that lets you see it!
Forever Skies puts you at the helm of a flying Ship above the skies of a ruined Earth. There are plenty of Resources to uncover as you play through the game's story, but you'll need to be able to find locations to loot on the Map before you can get them. Read on to learn more about the Map!
How to Get the Map in Forever Skies
You can get the Forever Skies Map by finding the Location Radar during the Navigation Technology Task.
Forever Skies Map Explanation
The Forever Skies Map can be viewed by placing a Location Radar on the wall of your Ship. This game does not have a fixed Map; rather, there are various towers that are randomly placed as you fly through the skies. 3-Light locations and higher are shown on the edges of the map along with a distance measurement in kilometers.
Each and every tower has its own unique icon, all of which are represented in the images for each entry in this guide. Towers represented by a question mark (?) on the Map are a variant that you have not yet discovered; fly to it and land on it to add that class of tower to your database.
The Map also shows mountains -- impassable barriers that you'll have to fly around. Unfortunately, the mountains are pretty hard to see if you're just glancing at the Map -- make sure to keep your eyes out the window when you're flying!
Forever Skies Locations
Much like Raft, Forever Skies has a number of different location types for you to explore as you fly around in your Ship. These locations are divided into categories based on the type of tower you'll find them on.
Please note that the Resources list for each location is not an all-inclusive list; some resources may not appear, and other unlisted Resources may appear based on spawn chances. All listed Resources have been confirmed at the listed locations firsthand.
1-Light / Orange Light Locations (Radio Tower)
Radio Towers can be accessed by the simplest of Ships; they represent the very first pieces of content that you'll explore in Forever Skies.

- Synthetic Fuel
A rarer Radio Tower spawn and a larger-than-usual location in general. A good source of Food and Water.
2-Light / Blue Light Locations (Wind Farm)
Wind Farms are marked by 2 flashing blue lights. You can only access them after you Build at least 1 Turbine on your Ship.
Standard Wind Farm
Resources
- Circuit Board
- Copper (from dismantling wind turbine generators)
- Glass (from dismantling windows)
- Helium
- Helium Fuel
- Machine Parts
- Metals (from dismantling walls)
- Old Isotonic Drink
- Repair Patch
- Solid State Battery
The Standard Wind Farm is small, but it's a good source of Helium and Copper. You can find additional Copper in nearby Wind Turbines not connected to the main pillar.
Command Center
Resources
- Copper (from dismantling wind turbine generators)
- Glass (from dismantling windows)
- Machine Parts
- Metals (from dismantling walls)
- Old Canned Water
The Command Center can be surprisingly light on resources despite its relative rarity as a location. However, this is where you can find the Freezer for preserving Food, so it's definitely worth a visit at least once.
Crash Site
Resources
- Copper (from dismantling wind turbine generators)
- Glass (from dismantling windows)
- Helium
- Helium Fuel
- Machine Parts
- Metals (from dismantling walls)
- Old Food Ration
- Solid State Battery
- Synthetics (from dismantling Synthetic Cases)
Rooftops

- Old Canned Water
- Old Food Ration
- Old Isotonic Drink
- Poster: Join Project Oxygen
- Repair Patch
- Solid State Battery
- Synthetics (from dismantling Synthetic Cases)
A rarer (and larger-than-usual) Wind Farm location that used to be a town. Expect to find a fair amount of Food and Resources.
High Point
Resources
- Clock
- Copper (from dismantling wind turbine generators)
- Helium
- Glass (from dismantling windows)
- Machine Parts
- Old Isotonic Drink
- Poster: Join Project Oxygen
- Repair Patch
High Point is a new Wind Farm location added in a recent update. It cannot be reached unless you have enough upgraded Turbines to raise your maximum altitude to 230.
3-Light / Green Light Locations
3-Light / Green Light locations are ideal places to go for Food and Biomass, although they aren't without some dangers. You will ideally want at least 3 Turbines on your Ship in order to properly land on these towers.
Greenhouse Tower
Resources
- Biomass (from cutting plants)
- Bruiseflower
- Canola Multidoigt Flower
- Coffee Nut
- Dirty Water (requires Bottle)

- Inkbulb
- Lobster Chili
- Lulling Grass Cricket
- Metals (from dismantling walls)
- Patat
- Petit Astre
- Plant Oil
- Polymer
- Solid State Battery
The Greenhouse Tower is an excellent source of Food. You'll also find many of the plants you need for Painting your Ship. Watch out for Lulling Grass Crickets -- they're the first hostile enemy you're likely to encounter.
Infected Greenhouse Tower
You cannot enter the Infected Greenhouse Tower until you've researched the Immunity Booster
Purple Circle Light Locations (Lift)
"Lift" locations are marked by a purple light in a circle. They have virtually no useful resources in the towers themselves; instead, they serve as an access point for going back to the surface to explore Underdust locations.
Descent to the Underdust
Resources
- Metals (from dismantling walls)
- Solid State Battery
Descent to the Underdust has a single Solid State Battery, but you'll need it to access the Underdust locations below -- don't rely on keeping it for your Ship unless you want to forego heading back to the surface.
Under Dust Locations
Underdust locations are accessed through the large towers with a purple light inside of a circular structure. These locations are quite literally located "under the dust" and you'll have to deal with an Oxygen Meter in addition to your normal stats.
