Kuro Game released a new trailer of its upcoming free-to-play open-world RPG Wuthering Waves, showing off another of its characters.
This time around, the spotlight is on Danjin, also known as "Scarlet Shade." She's voiced by Sophie Colquhoun and she's a sword user with Havoc attribute.
Described as "a virtuous maiden ranger," she is a kind traveler who roams the world to fight evil anywhere she sees it.
Danjin's resonance skill consumes her HP to unleash a variety of powerful slashes, while her resonance liberation uses both of her swords to hit enemies in a circle around her.
Her hoddy is "releasing lanterns in the sky" and she apparently has a sweet tooth. She enjoy a sugary dish named Loong Whisper Crisp, shaped like a dragon.
You can check out her trailer below. If you're interested in more characters, you can also take a look at the previous trailer showcasing Sanhua.
Wuthering Waves is coming at some point in the future for PC, iOS and Android. While no release date has been announced for the moment pre-reguistrations are open and we already know that it'll be free-to-play with the usual and inevitable optional in-game microtransactions.
A closed beta was hel earlier this year and you can also check out video detailing monster capture and another trailer topped by plenty of gameplay.
This is another game placing itself in the converted market niche prominently occupied by HoyoVerse's Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and similar games.
While there have been plenty of attempt to create a foothold in it, no one so far has managed to replicate the magnitude of success earned by HoYoverse's games. Having seen Wuthering Waves in action at a few industry events, it certainly seem promising, but we'll have to wait and see if that promise will be realized.
