Today popular adult games developer NLT Media released the first trailer of its next title, Symphony of the Serpent, which is currently in development.
The game will be released in early 2024, and it'll come first in early access form on the developer's Patreon and then it'll probably release on Steam like its predecessors.
It's the fourth game of the saga that started with Lust Epidemic and continued with Treasure of Nadia and The Genesis Order. The Genesis Order itself is close to completion, and Symphony of the Serpent will be released in Chunk as soon as its predecessor is finished.
The story of the series will become more metaphysical, while maintaining the Indiana Jones-like adventure elements that have been included in the previous two games.
As a virus infects the population, demons take the opportunity to invade, unleashing a war between Heaven and Hell, with a new protagonist at the center, yet, many characters from the previous games (all the way to the first) will make a comeback.
You can check out the trailer below, keeping in mind that, while it doesn't showcase actual sexual interactions, some outfits and proportions aren't exactly chaste, so you may want not to watch it at work.
NLT Media is one of the many adult game developers that have flourished on Patreon over the past few years. While traditional publishers usually snub the genre, many have found captive audiences and ample funding on the popular monetization platform, basically marking the birth of a whole industry.
Like many of its peers, NLT Media releases its games in chunks for Patreon subscribers who pay between $2 and $23 a month. When the games are close to completion, they're released on Steam and other digital platforms for everyone else. Symphony of the Serpent will likely follow the same route.
At the moment, there is no firm release date for Symphony of the Serpent, either on Patreon or other digital distribution platforms.
