In Starfield, you have 3 main pieces of "armor" that you can equip - your Spacesuit, Pack, and Helmet. In this guide, we'll show you how to get one of the best spacesuits in Starfield right at the start of the game.
To get this, you'll need to progress the story enough to unlock the basement of The Lodge, which happens the first time you visit and meet the members of Constellation. I was able to get this right at the start of the game, and it made a huge difference!
After getting your key to The Lodge, head back towards the front door and open the locked door underneath the stairs.
After entering, head down and to the left past the workbenches available to you - then take the first right and then go all the way back towards the covered couch and painting.
To your left, there's a mannequin that you can unlock with the digipicking skills to unlock Master locks (Rank 3.)
But, it wouldn't be a Bethesda RPG if you couldn't cheese it a bit...right?
Starfield Mark 1 Set - One of the Best Spacesuits in the game
Similar to the picture above, approach the mannequin and get fairly close but a bit to the right of the corner to the suit's left side. You may have to shift slightly, but if you move your cursor up and down the corner, you should be able to catch the mannequin just right.s
When you do - interact with it, and the Starfield Mark 1 suit is all yours. Stats below.

Overall, the Mark 1 Suit is going to be one of the best suits you can pick up for most of the game. There's legendaries out there that will match or exceed the stats of this suit, but being able to cheese it in your first few hours of gameplay is going to make quickly leveling and taking on enemies so much easier!
Hopefully this guide helped you find a quick win with the Starfield Mark 1 suit. Check out some more below!
