You'll need to know how to get Sand in Raft if you want to build Bricks -- read on to learn what you need to know about finding this key resource!

How to Get Sand in Raft

You can get Sand in Raft by traveling to an island and digging it up with a Plastic Hook (or better) in the shallow waters surrounding the island. Equip your Plastic Hook and hold left-click while your cursor is over a Sand deposit and you'll dig it up in no time.

As always, don't leave your boat unattended without making sure that you have an anchor keeping it in place!

What is Sand Used For in Raft?

On its own, Sand only has two uses in Raft -- making Wet Bricks (which also need Clay) and Glass (which needs to be put in a Smelter).

Wet Bricks can be turned into Dry Bricks by placing them on the deck of your Raft and waiting for some time to pass. They will turn into Dry Bricks once the drying process is complete and they can then be used for important workstations such as the Smelter and Electric Smelter.

Glass, on the other hand, is a little more versatile. It can be used for advanced resources like Honey or useful Tools such as Binoculars. You'll need a Smelter to turn Sand into Glass, though, so you should use your first pieces of Sand to make the 6 Dry Bricks you need to build one.
