In this guide, we'll tell you how to unlock Orkish Chests in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria -- and what you can find inside of them.
Once you've grasped the basics of The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, you'll start exploring deeper into the abandoned towns and caves of this ancient Dwarven land. Even the sturdiest Armor won't help you progress without the right items, and some of these items can only be found in Orkish Chests -- read on to learn how to find an Ork Key and open them!
How to Unlock Orkish Chests in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria
Here's how to unlock Orkish Chests in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria:
- Find an Ork Camp; they are indicated by a group of Orks and Goblins surrounding a wooden fortification with an Ork Banner in the middle.
- You can, if desired, kill all of the enemies surrounding the Ork Banner. (It's not strictly necessary, but it's probably safer.)
- Destroy the Ork Banner with a Pickaxe or a Weapon.
- Loot the Ork Key from the Ork Banner debris.
- Open the Ork Chest.
It's really that easy! Simply destroying the Ork Banner in an Ork Camp will guarantee you an Ork Key, granting you access to an Ork Chest. It should be noted that, to my knowledge, Ork Camps (and, consequently, Orkish Chests) do not respawn -- keep that in mind when you're deciding on what to do with the loot you find!
You'll get different loot depending on which region of Moria you're in. Orkish Chests in The Western Halls, for example, will contain Black Diamonds, but their counterparts in The Lower Deeps will have Rubies instead.
