If you'd like to play Salt and Sacrifice on Nintendo Switch or prefer to have the game on Steam, Ska Studio and Devoured Studios have good news for you today.
The Switch and Steam releases of the indie darling Soulslike platformer just got a release date, and it's on November 7, 2023. Cross-play will be supported.
Incidentally, the Steam version has been verified compatible with the SteamDeck. The game will be priced at $19.99 on both platforms.
If you're unfamiliar with Salt and Sacrifice, it's the sequel of the million-plus seller Salt and Sanctuary.
The game was originally launched in May 2022 for PS4, PS5, and PC via the Epic Games Store, and now it's finally launching on new platforms.
To get a refresher on what it looks like, you can take a look at the trailer below.
Incidentally, the existing versions of the game are also getting an update titled "The Traitor's Tomb" at the same time as the Steam and Switch release.
It introduces a new and massive dungeon with bosses, NPCs, and secrets. On top of that, players will be able to challenge other inquisitors in the new PvP arena.
The press release also included a comment from Ska Studios founder James Silva.
Since first launching Salt and Sacrifice in 2022, we’ve been hard at work getting the game ready for Steam and Nintendo Switch and preparing “The Traitor’s Tomb” update as a thank you to all of the players who’ve journeyed into Altarstone Kingdom.
With the upcoming Steam and Nintendo Switch launch, as well as the free update for all players, we hope that even more Marked Inquisitors heed the call of battle on Wednesday, November 7!
