THQ Nordic has announced the first major DLC pack for grim post-World War I historical RTS Last Train Home.
Titled Legion Tales, the DLC will add several new missions consisting of "combat encounters so spectacular that they have become legendary among the legionaries", according to a Steam announcement post. It'll launch on February 1st.
Each mission will have its own unique narrative and has also been designed to have "high replayability"; optional challenges allow you to gain rewards that you can spend on unlocking different squad types for each mission.
If you've already bought the Deluxe Edition of the game, you'll gain access to the Legion Tales DLC at no additional cost.
However, if you're buying the DLC outright, you'll be forking over $14.99, although there'll be a 10% discount for the DLC's first week on sale.
If you're not familiar with Last Train Home, it's a grueling RTS set in the time immediately following World War I.
Released in October last year, the game casts you as a platoon of Czech soldiers "caught in the middle of a brutal civil war between Russia's Red and White Armies".
You'll need to try and make sure as many of your troops make it back home as possible, taking care of their physical and mental needs along the way.
Of course, you'll also need to make sure you're using the right tactics for each situation, positioning your troops for maximum impact and shielding them from opposing forces.
You won't just be engaging in battle, either; you'll also need to manage your squad, upgrading their equipment and skills as you build your armored train's facilities to cater to your troops as best you can.
