The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria Armor Tier Guide

In your first few hours of Return to Moria, you’re likely to be about as protected as a newborn baby. To fix that, you’ll need to get your hands on some nice and sturdy dwarven armor. 

How to Get Armor

The first stage in getting armor is to get your hands on a recipe for a piece of armor. The easiest way to do this is to go around and repair some of the broken statues you find dotted around Moria. 

Craft an Iron Hammer from your crafting menu and interact with the statue you want to repair while holding enough stone to get the job done.  More advanced statutes will require more stone, as well as an upgraded hammer if you want to unlock the juicy secrets inside. 

Once you’ve got the recipe unlocked you can craft each new armor recipe you find at your Forge, assuming you have enough resources to actually do it. Certain powerful pieces of armor will also require you to gain access to giant special forges that are in the game world. 

Armor Tiers

Higher tiers give you more armor and therefore offer longer-lasting protection from damage.
