Our The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria Bolgakh Boss Fight will tell you where to find Bolgakh and the best way to defeat this giant Ork boss.

Orks are a major antagonist in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, and some of these Orks are bigger than others. Your first major boss fight will be against one of these Orks, but you'll need to unlock the right Weapon to beat him -- read on to learn how to win the fight against Bolgakh!

Where is Bolgakh in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria?

Bolgakh can be found in the "Ork village" of sorts in one of the deeper parts of the Mines of Moria. That means you'll have to make your way down to the Mines and travel through the caves of The Lower Deeps on the Map before you'll encounter him.

You can tell that you're getting near Bolgakh when you start encountering Biteweed. This plant only grows in areas heavily infested with Orks and Goblins.

Best Way to Win The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria Bolgakh Boss Fight

The best way to win The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria Bolgakh Boss Fight is to equip yourself with the Last Alliance Maul and a Shield. Any other Weapons simply won't do enough damage.

Bolgakh is not a fair one-on-one boss fight. He will be surrounded by a neverending horde of Orks and Goblins. These Orks and Goblins are usually content to stand back and watch the fight, but they will absolutely take a cheap shot at you if they get behind you.

You can unlock the Last Alliance Maul by repairing Destroyed Statues in The Mines of Moria. It has two pieces, so you'll need to repair 2 Destroyed Statues. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell which Destroyed Statues will give you which items as far as I know, so it's probably best to focus on repairing them all until you get it.

If you have the Last Alliance Maul and a Shield, you can block Bolgakh's attacks (or the cheap potshots from the other Orks) and then attack Bolgakh with the Last Alliance Maul. Bolgakh's health will go down pretty quickly.

If you don't have the Last Alliance Maul, your weapons simply won't be enough to do significant damage to him. It's going to take hundreds of melee hits or shots from a bow (even if you're using Elven Arrows). I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's far more difficult compared to using the correct weapon.

Once Bolgakh is defeated, you'll probably have to kill a few Ork stragglers hanging around. You can then loot the area for Gold Coins and Black Diamonds, the latter of which should allow you to fix the Lift at The Crystal Descent and move on to The Lower Deeps.
