A Quivern in Palworld

While Palworld has enjoyed extreme popularity since its release, the game is still in early access and it certainly is affected by issues. One of the most persistent has players stuck in an infinite loading screen when they try to log in.

Today, as announced on Pocketpair's Discord server, the game received another update to address the issue, but the developer doesn't believe we're out of the woods yet.

As such, they ask the player to consider the patch a step to make login more easily without being a full solution. They also encourage players to report successful logins.

Here's the full message (sic. Please consider that the developers aren't native English speakers.).

A new update fixing infinite loading problem had been release, but not all the problems had been solved, please consider as easier to login.

Reporting successful login will b very useful for us. On top of that please enjoy your gameplay as usual.

We are still investigating other problem, and sorry for the inconvenience! thank you for the patient and happy to have your support!

In the meanwhile, Palworld, which has sold over 8 million copies, achieved another concurrent user peak a few hours ago as it entered its second weekend of early access. According to the monitoring portal SteamDB, the current peak is at 2,101,867 players.

Pocketpair also released a new Paldeck video, resuming a tradition that went on for quite a while before release.  This time around, we take a look at the super-cute Quivern.

If you're unfamiliar with Palworld, you can purchase it for PC and Xbox, including Game Pass. You can read our hands-on preview and find more detailed information. If you'd like, rent a private server on g-portal to play with your friends.

If you're wondering what's coming next for the game, Pocketpair has revealed an extensive early access roadmap for the game. Albeit, as you've read above, they're currently focusing on fixing existing issues.

The developer has also signed a deal with Klab to co-develop a "hybrid-casual" mobile game, but there is no confirmation that it's related to Palworld.
