If you're among the millions playing the indie survival crafting game Palworld, there is a specific item that you may want not to use according to its developers.
Pocketpair mentioned on its discord server that the item "Memory Reset Drug" should be avoided.
According to the developers, the item resets the player's status, but it may also reduce their capture power in a way that is impossible to recover. While the issue is being investigated, players are asked to avoid using the item altogether.
Here's the full message.
Currently, using the item "Memory Reset Drug" that resets the player's status may reduce the player's capture power and make it impossible to recover. We are currently investigating this issue, so we apologize for the inconvenience, but please refrain from using it until the investigation/correction is complete.
At the moment, no further update on the issue has been provided, but we'll keep you informed if anything is shared.
Incidentally, Pocketpair has also submitted a patch to Microsoft form certification, in order to solve some of the problems that have been reported on Xbox.
Currently, we have submitted a patch for Xbox that addresses some of the issues that have been reported, however the patch can not be issued until it passes the Microsoft certification process.
We haven't received any word about the status of this yet, but we have been trying to get in touch so we can expedite the process.
As soon as we know more, we will share it with you immediately.
Palworld is currently available for PC and Xbox, including Game Pass. The game has sold over 4 million copies on Steam and achieved a peak concurrent user count of nearly 1.3 million users, which is pretty massive. At the moment of this writing, almost 900,000 people are playing on Valve's platform.
