Today Atlus has a couple of relevant reveals to share about the upcoming Tactics JRPG Persona 5 Tactica, on top of a new trailer and screenshots.
We learn about some of the features included in the game, including New Game+. Once cleared the game, you'll be able to select a clear data save and restart the story preserving your Persona Compendium, money, equipment and more.
You can use the New Game+ to expand and complete your Persona Compendium or to play at a higher difficulty. Starting the New Game+ will unlock special art and a bonus in the Report menu.
The game will have quests that involve stages with specific mechanics and challenges, on top of unique stories. You can also obtain GP that can be spent in each character's skill tree.
On top of unlocking some of the game's most powerful skills in the skill tree, clearing quests will also let you create strong Personas.
There is also a replay feature that lets you replay cleared stages whenever you want, allowing you to powerlevel your characters. Each stage has three bonus challenges that grant individual rewards which you can try to get while replaying them. You can also increase the difficulty level.
We also get a new trailer, which you can watch below. Quite interestingly, it appears that the new character Toshiro Kasukabe may also get his own Persona. Will he join the Phantom Thieves?
On top of that, we get to see Lavenza casually dropping by on an appropriately blue train. You can watch it below.
Update 10/24/2023: the English version of the trailer has been published, and we added it below, so you can listen to both voice overs options.
Persona 5 Tactica is coming on November 17 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It'll have a day-one DLC titled Repaint Your Heart Challenge Pack.
