Today Sega and Atlus released a new trailer and a new video of the upcoming Tactics JRPG Persona 5 Tactica.
Specifically, the trailer comes with English subtitles from the Asian arm of Sega (I suspect we're going to see a dubbed version from Atlus west soon), showing off the story, characters, villains, and gameplay. It ends with a surprise appearance of Crow and Violet.
You can watch it below.
The extensive video comes from the Japanese arm of Atlus and unfortunately is exclusively in Japanese. Yet, we still get to see quite a lot.
We start with another look at storytelling including a look at our protagonists as they try to blend into the new world. Next, is a glimpse at four of our playable heroes, Fox, Queen, Oracle, and Noir.
Next is some battle gameplay including the difficulty levels, which you can choose between Safety, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Risky. We also take a look at the "Steampunk Velvet Room" where we'll do our usual persona growing and fusions. This time around, it's handled by Lavenza.
Lastly, we get to take a look at the Repaint Your Heart DLC, which is part of the Digital Deluxe Edition, with both Akechi and Kasumi who will appear in the story and will be playable.
Persona 5 Tactica will release for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 17, 2023.
If you'd like to see more footage, you can also take a look at the reveal trailer, one showcased at Anime expo, another focusing on Morgana, one showcasing the new character Erina, and another video also the villain Marie, one showcasing Skull, another focusing on Panther, and one showing off Toshiro Kasukabe.
Recently, we also saw the reveal of Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor ReFantazio. The former is a remake of the popular mainline entry in the series, while the latter is a fully new high fantasy JRPG by the creators of Persona 5.
