What Does The Planet Crafter Fusion Reactor Do?
The Planet Crafter Fusion Reactor is contained within a crashed ship and will open up locked doors on that ship. It is the only way to open these doors without using any cheats or exploits.
Despite its name, activating the Fusion Reactor does not provide any Power to your operations.
Where is the Fusion Reactor in The Planet Crafter?
I've found a total of two Fusion Reactors in The Planet Crafter as of Early Access Version 0.4.004 as noted in our Map and Locations Guide.
- Starting Plains Derelict - 1100:26:639
- Space Warp Gate / Ring Wreck Desert Derelict - 1572:83:601
In both cases, the Fusion Reactor is located deep within the ship.
How to Use the Fusion Reactor in The Planet Crafter
You can use The Planet Crafter Fusion Reactor by crafting a Fusion Energy Cell and inserting it into the container of the Fusion Reactor. This will open up doors on the same ship as the Fusion Reactor.
Once you've retrieved the loot from the rooms, you can go back to the Fusion Reactor and retrieve the Fusion Energy Cell.
What Does The Planet Crafter Fusion Energy Cell Do?
The Fusion Energy Cell activates the Fusion Reactor in The Planet Crafter, opening up access to locked areas on a derelict ship.
How to Unlock the Fusion Energy Cell in The Planet Crafter
You can unlock the Fusion Energy Cell by progressing Terraforming. Unfortunately, it is the very last unlock in the game as of Early Access version 0.4.004 -- you have to reach a Terraformation rating of 578.56 GTi.
How to Use the Fusion Energy Cell in The Planet Crafter
You can use the Fusion Energy Cell by placing it inside of the container in a Fusion Reactor.
Is the Fusion Energy Cell Consumed?
No, the Fusion Energy Cell is not consumed.
