Developer Soda Den has announced the Roots of Pacha PlayStation and Switch release date.
The cozy Stone Age farming sim is heading to PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on November 28th, with an Xbox release scheduled for next year.
What's more, the PlayStation and Switch editions of the game will be version 1.1, which is also arriving on PC the same day.
In a roadmap posted earlier this year, Soda Den promised that version 1.1 would bring "an expansion of the current systems", including a new child growth stage, another romance option, and more pet interactions, among other things.
As such, you can presumably look forward to those features in the PlayStation and Switch versions of the game on launch.
If you've missed out on Roots of Pacha, it's a farming sim in which you'll rear animals, grow crops, and contribute to your village's growth and evolution.
As the game progresses, you'll discover important "ideas" that will shape your world, including metalworking, pottery, and even spirituality for your people.
You'll also get to know your clan, each of whom has their own wants, fears, and ambitions in life. You can even recruit clan members from other clans and invite them to join your community.
Of course, you can customize your character, too, although it's fair to say that the Stone Age wasn't exactly the height of fashion, so don't expect any elaborate outfit options.
Roots of Pacha was, according to Soda Den, "developed from scratch with multiplayer support in mind", so this is one that's probably best experienced alongside a friend.
You can pick up Roots of Pacha on PlayStation consoles and Nintendo Switch starting from November 28th.
No release date has yet been announced for the Xbox version, so watch this space for more on that. In the meantime, why not check out our Roots of Pacha guides to get you good and ready to tackle the Stone Age?
