Gaming mental health charity Safe In Our World has announced its second annual Press Pause fundraiser.
For the new event, Safe In Our World is teaming up with tech company Elgato, and it's hoping to break the £10,000 barrier across all of its fundraising activities.
Chiefly, the fundraiser, like Safe In Our World's previous efforts, is inviting streamers and content creators to create content based on challenges, raffles, and other activities in order to raise as much as they can for the charity.
The first 20 fundraisers to reach £500 will be given a choice between four Elgato products - the Stream Deck Mk2, the Facecam, the Wave:3 microphone, and the HD60 X - for free.
Elgato will also match all funds raised for Safe In Our World up to the value of £10,000.
Fundraisers who raise over £1,000 will get a custom Game Boy with Press Pause artwork on it, and those who raise over £2,000 will also get the Game Boy, plus a rechargeable USB-C battery and some extra design options.
You can head over to Safe In Our World's Tiltify page if you want to get involved in Press Pause as a fundraiser.
Alternatively, if you don't want to engage in fundraising efforts but still want to support the charity, the Tiltify page has an option to make a one-off donation as well.
If you make a corporate donation of £3,000 or more, then you'll get a custom-made Game Boy that can feature custom branding. Safe In Our World says it'd make a "fine addition to any office or HQ".
Safe In Our World is a gaming charity that aims to spotlight issues surrounding mental health in the world of gaming. The charity's remit could include examining how playing games affects mental health, for instance, or how to reduce toxicity in the gaming community.
Other initiatives Safe In Our World has effected besides fundraisers include a gaming mental health journal with lots of exercises to try, plus an Ambassador program and lots more.
The second annual Press Pause event runs between October 27th and October 31st.
