A new solo journaling TTRPG is coming from Modiphius Entertainment. The tabletop publisher has seen considerable success thanks to it developing TTRPGs based on beloved properties like Fallout, bringing back beloved miniature war game Brikwars, as well as announcing an original IP: Dreams and Machines.
Now, there is the Star Trek Captain's Log Solo Roleplaying Game, a spin-off of their award-winning TTRPG Star Trek Adventures.

In an official press release, Modiphius went into detail on the Star Trek Captain's Log Solo Roleplaying Game. As the name implies, you play as the captain of your own Starfleet ship, keeping track of your adventures in your captain's log throughout your journey.
This solo journaling TTRPG will feature a streamlined version of the 2d20 system used in Star Trek Adventures. The book will include 326-pages, and provide rules for random and player-created missions.
As captain, the player will decide on the actions their crew will take to complete the mission. Over time, a vibrant story of the captain's successes and failures will emerge as they continue to explore the final frontier.
The Star Trek Captain's Log Solo Roleplaying Game also provides new material for Star Trek Adventures. Captains can play cooperatively with friends playing as senior staff. Another player can even act as the gamemaster, facilitating the adventures the captain will experience.
Finally, gamemasters can use the random story tables in this book to generate adventures for their gaming table. There are over 100 random tables in this book, guaranteeing dozens, if not hundreds, of unique stories for players to enjoy.
Finally, the Star Trek Captain's Log Solo Roleplaying Game will be available in four different covers. While the contents of the book will remain the same, these four covers will feature artwork inspired by the distinct eras of Star Trek: Original Series, Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Discovery.
The Star Trek Captain's Log Solo Roleplaying Game is available for pre-order on Modiphius' store page at an MSRP of $39.52. The book is set to ship in August.
