Stray Momo's Notebook Location

If you're looking to find your way through Stray Chapter 4: The Slums then you'll find yourself in a situation where you need to make your way around The Slums and discover a series of notebooks. These notebooks are hidden all over The Slums in difficult-to-reach locations. In this Stray Outsider Notebook Collectible Guide, we'll help you find all four of the notebooks of The Outsiders so you can continue to progress through the storyline of Stray.

As The Slums is a non-linear part of the game the area where you first translate a Robot's speech, the lit part of town where the praying robots are, will be referred to as the Starting Area as a point of reference to help further understand the path you should take.

Stray Notebook #1 - Momo's Notebook

When you first get to Chapter 4 you'll be told by a guard to see Momo in the house with the neon light over it. From the Starting area turn around and head down the stairs. Use the building's AC units, awnings, and pipes across from the saloon/bar to scale up the building. Once you're on top of the roof you should continue to the right to see the neon sign and a clear path over the roof to the balcony. Entering through this window and speaking the Momo he'll tell you of his three other friends; Zbaltazar, Doc, and Clementine. You'll need these books to progress so he will give you his own notebook and ask that you hunt down the other three. Chances are if you're here reading this guide you've already spoken with Momo to even be aware of these collectibles.

Stray Notebook #2 - Zbaltazar's Notebook

Use the building's AC units, awnings, and pipes across from the saloon/bar to scale up the building. Once you're at the top look to the right to see two robots throwing paint cans at one another. Reach the robot that has a higher elevation and a bit past him will be another building that's even higher. Once you reach the top of this building, it's the tallest building you have access to in the slums, you'll see a raised section. To the side of it is a power cell that you can unplug, this will de-power the fan at the top of this raised section. Jump on top, and through the fan vent to enter a hidden room. Jump on the towers of boxes and off again, once you do they stop being rigid and instead collapse to the ground. Search among the fallen boxes to find Zbaltazar's Notebook.

Stray Notebook #3 - Doc's Notebook

From the Starting area turn around and head down the stairs. Use the AC units, awnings, and pipes on the building across from the saloon/bar to scale up the building. Once you're on top of the roof you should continue heading in the direction directly away from the Starting Area. As you cross these roofs you'll pass by one roof with a number of sleeping bags on it, and then onto a roof with a couch and TV. Past that you'll see a balcony with an opening to a building large enough for a cat to squeeze through.

Enter this house filled with books and go completely straight, and then to the right and through some piles of books into a side room and pick up the keys. After getting the keys then wander through the stacks knocking down piles of books to find a hidden safe with Doc's Notebook.

Stray Notebook #4 - Clementine's Notebook

From the central area turn around and head down the stairs. Climb up to the roof of the Saloon building using the crates and awnings. Once you're at the top look for an open window. Make your way into this room and through the broken door at the back of the room (This is right next to Music Sheet #6 for the Meowlody Trophy and Music Badge) and then turn left and continue into the back room. Propped up next to the computer you'll find Clementine's Notebook.

After you've obtained all four Outsider Notebooks you'll be able to return them to Momo and progress the chapter. Keep in mind as soon as you've turned them in you won't be able to complete any other tasks in The Slums until you return in Chapter 6: The Slums Part 2. There are plenty of other Trophies to earn in and around The Slums.
