Today Capcom showcased a ton of gameplay and details about the upcoming fighting game Street Fighter 6

First of all, we take an in-depth look at the World Tour mode, where you can explore, socialize, and train with a master with your custom-created characters. Of course, masters are established fighters from the series.

While the game starts in Metro City, you can get flight tickets to travel to other locations around the world, which you can also explore and offer different features.

Next, we take a look at the Battle Hub, where you can duke it out against other players and create clubs with friends.

Interestingly, there is an option to activate damage and dirt on outfits. This can be turned off at any time. We also take a look at sound accessibility options, which may help visually impaired players enjoy the game.

More footage shows the tutorial, the Dynamic control mode that lets the AI help you perform combos on its own, but it's available only offline.

Next is the single-player Arcade Mode, including a story for each character featuring beautiful illustrations. Online rankings are also supported. More clips showcase the practice and Versus modes.

The Extreme Battle Mode differs from normal matches as it includes special gimmicks or rules that can change-up the gameplay. It can be played offline, in the Battle Hub, or in the Custom Rooms which you can set up to host up to 16 players at a time.

Of course, the game comes with its full-featured ranking mode, which was also showcased today. Yet, if you don't care about winning or losing league points, Casual Matches are also available.

We then take a look at the four fighters that will appear as DLC in the year following the game's launch: Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma. They will come respectively in Summer 2023, Fall 2023, Winter (after the new year in 2024), and Spring 2024.

Last, but not least, a brand new demo is releasing today for PS5 and PS4, while the PC and Xbox version launches on April 26

You can check out the full video and a few separate trailers below.

Street Fighter 6 is releasing on June 2, 2023. This time around, it's returning to its multiplatform nature, as it'll launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It'll also come to the arcades via Taito, albeit that version won't probably leave Japan at least for the time being.

Recently, we've seen many gameplay clips showcasing full matches played by the developers including Cammy versus ManonLily versus E. Honda, Marisa versus ManonDee Jay versus DhalsimBlanka versus JP, and Zangief versus Marisa. We recently also learned that Japanese actress Hikaru Takahashi joined the roster of commentators for the Real-Time Commentary feature introduced for the game.
