Another new Tekken 8 gameplay trailer is here, and this one's for a character who's been with the venerable fighting game franchise since its first game: Lee Chaolan.

The Silver-Haired Demon sports goggles and a high-tech suit in his Tekken 8 appearance, and his first opponent in his trailer is the assassin Nina Williams.

Lee's fighting style is speedy and technical, just as you'd expect from the founder of a robotics corporation.

Lee Chaolan extending a taunting hand and saying "do your worst" in the new Tekken 8 trailer
I wouldn't if I were you.

Lee delivers a brutal beatdown to Nina, even knocking her through a massive glass wall at one stage.

Following his bout with Nina, he faces off against Lars Alexandersson, who seems equally happy to fight, telling Lee not to hold back. That, of course, is likely a decision he comes to regret as the trailer proceeds.

In the grand tradition of previous Tekken 8 character trailers, this one ends with Lee's Rage Art, which involves him delivering a flurry of blows to his opponent before tossing an explosive device at them.

This new Tekken 8 trailer arrives in the wake of a live-action video spot released for the game yesterday.

It features esports pros Arslan Ash, KingJae, Gen1us, and Sephiblack, as well as Icelandic strength athlete Hafthor Bjornsson, who you might know better as The Mountain from Game of Thrones.

You can check out the live-action video spot here. It should get you nice and hyped for Tekken 8's release next week.

Tekken 8 is due to launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on January 26th.

It's the eighth mainline installment in the Tekken franchise, and it'll continue the epic, long-running Mishima saga, handily recapped recently by legendary Scottish actor Brian Cox.

The game may not have launched yet, but we already know who its first DLC character will be: capoeira practitioner Eddy Gordo, who's arriving sometime in the spring.

Make sure to take a look at our latest Tekken 8 preview to get a sense of what you can expect from the game, and our very own Erren's interview with some of the game's key personnel should help to shed some light on its development process as well.
