Crema and Humble Games have released Temtem update 1.5, and the developer is calling this one "the biggest patch since we launched 1.0".
Following on from patch 1.4, which celebrated Pride in a very Temtem fashion, this latest update is adding a major new Mythical Temtem in Galios, the "final" Mythical Temtem.
Galios can be found on an entirely new route in a new area, and you can enjoy new music and effects as well.
The new Temtem's attacks revolve around the Doom status effect, and if you defeat it, an even bigger surprise awaits you in the form of a brand new type of Temtem.
All you need to do to unlock your new surprise is to complete the Galios quest and defeat it. The new type of Temtem will then be loose across the Archipelago.
A new challenge mode is also being introduced in Temtem update 1.5. Randomized mode does exactly what you'd expect: it randomizes "almost everything" in a Temtem run, but you no longer need to be bound by the Nuzlocke rules that previously governed randomization.
Changes are also coming to the Lairs system. You can now tackle Lairs in parties of one or two players, and a new node is also allowing players to trade with one another during a Lair.
Dojo rematches are getting a new Casual difficulty setting, too. Crema says this is intended to bridge the gap between standard and endgame PvE content, and it will adjust stats and levels so that newer players can enjoy Dojo rematches.
If you want to see everything that's new, you can check out the Temtem update 1.5 patch notes. Do be aware that they spoil the new Temtem type that appears after you defeat Galios, so only read them if you don't mind knowing about that ahead of time.
Temtem is available right now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
