With the conclusion of Tokyo Game Show 2023, the Japanese CESA reached out with a press release with details about the show and its 2024 edition, including the winners of the Japan Game Awards future division.
We learn that Tokyo Game Show 2024 will be hosted from Thursday, September 26 to Sunday, September 29, 2024. The location will be the usual, Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo.
As for the 2023 edition, it counted 243,238 visitors, nearly twice as many as the 2022 edition, which was the first open to the public in person after the hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
While this year's numbers don't match the nearly 300,000 record of TGS 2018, the show is certainly recovering well.
The number of exhibitors was a record-high 787 companies and organizations from 44 countries.
We also get the list of the winners of the Japan Game Awards Future Division, which recognizes the most promising games exhibited or announced at the show.
Do keep in mind that there is no order. All the awards are equivalent and the titles are listed in Japanese alphabetical order.

- Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince
- Dragon's Dogma 2
