Ubisoft has announced a new Trials game, titled Trials Rising, and is aiming for a February release next year. Developed in co-operation by Ubisoft Redlynx and Ubisoft Kiev, Trials Rising will take players all around the world, and offer new methods of competition everywhere. The first Trials game since 2014's Trials FusionTrials Rising is set to release in February 2019 for PC, Xbox One, PS4 and for the first time, on the Nintendo Switch.

Trials Rising is introducing co-operative play where two players can ride tandem bikes, and attempt to navigate Trials' notoriously tricky courses. Additionally, Trials Rising will also include a career mode, where you progress from small-town competitions to massive, sponsored events. Trials Rising will also take players to never-before-seen tracks and locations, including the heights of Wyoming and the streets of Paris. Customization and track creation is unsurprisingly returning, with Ubisoft promising a "vastly expanded and improved" system.

Ubisoft enlisted help from the community in order to perfect the tutorials and improve the onboarding. Additionally, these community members will make up the "Trials Elite." Ubisoft is taking registrations for the closed beta now.
