Today Electronic Arts and Koei Tecmo revealed the next update coming to the monster-hunting game Wild Hearts with a new trailer.
The update will release on April 6 and its centerpiece is the new kemono named Murakumo, a fox-like monster able to unleash powerful tornados as lethal as they are beautiful due to the cherry blossoms spinning in the wind.
Speaking of spinning, a new Karakuri gadget called Spinning Top will also be made available. Every time it hits obstacles or enemies, its speed and power increase. It can also stagger Kemono, making it particularly useful against Murakumo's wind.
Weapons and armor will be further upgradable thanks to the limit-breaking feature using Core Orbs, which will be obtained by hunting volatile Komono. The patch will also feature fixes and miscellaneous improvements that will be revealed with the full patch notes on April 6.
The trailer, which you can see below, also teases another update coming on April 20. It will include the Deathhaze Gloombeak kemono and a new type of quest, Serial Hunts, prompting players to hunt as many kemono as they can before they are overwhelmed.
Wild Hearts is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
