Iron Gate and merch company Heroic Replicas have announced a Kickstarter campaign for a new set of Valheim merchandise, including a full-scale replica of the game's ethereal Mistwalker sword.
The campaign's official title is "Valheim: Real-life Relics and Rarities", and products range from a hardwood drinking tankard all the way through to a 42-inch sword made from heat-treated stainless steel.
Naturally, Valheim developer Iron Gate is entirely on board with the campaign too, as a post on the studio's X (formerly known as Twitter) feed shows.
Heroic Replicas says it chose Kickstarter to give its project "the best chance of success" and to "permit [its] catalog to grow".
The studio wants to move from one-off product development to sustained product lines, and it says working with Iron Gate on Valheim merchandise provides it the perfect opportunity to do so thanks to Valheim's massive audience.
Everything in the campaign is set to ship in August 2024 (assuming the campaign is successful, of course), and Heroic Replicas says it already has all of its designs ready to go.
Funding from the campaign will be used to generate production estimates, according to Heroic Replicas, and to amass inventory, as well as shipping rewards for backers and developing future projects.
Several different bundles are available as part of the campaign, too, so if you don't want just one item, you've got options.
The Haldor's Horde bundle, for instance, collects all four of the replica Valheim weapons in the campaign together for around $3150, while the Odin's Own Omegabundle collects everything in the whole campaign together for an extra $250 or so on top of the Haldor's Horde price.
