EA has deployed a new Wild Hearts update, introducing a "truly toxic" new Kemono to face. The Deathhaze Gloombeak should provide a challenge to even the most experienced hunter, so make sure you pack your poisonproof armor just like your parents taught you.
The Deathhaze Gloombeak was first teased just a few weeks ago, and it's now spreading its poison across the world of Wild Hearts. If you're going to take it on, you'll want to be prepared for its "grim toxins", as the developers describe it. The avian beast is just as quick as you'd expect from a massive bird, and it's capable of firing poison-tipped feathers, creating poison tornados, and doing all manner of other nasty things. You'll need to be on top of your game to defeat it.
If you beat the bird, you'll get the new Deathhaze Exorciser title, and there's also a chance you'll get a talisman with the new Toxic Shock skill. This skill boosts poison damage against Kemono, so it's important to pick it up if poison plays a big part in your arsenal.
This latest Wild Hearts update is also introducing a brand new type of Special Quest in the form of Serial Hunts. These hunts will task you with taking down a gauntlet of Kemono within a set time, and you won't be able to use healing wells, so you'll need to conserve your energy. Each Kemono you take down increases your reward, but failing during the hunt means you won't get a reward at all.
You can read more about the new Wild Hearts Deathhaze Gloombeak update over on the game's official website. Wild Hearts is out right now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. If you're looking to get into its monster-hunting groove, make sure to take a look at our Wild Hearts guides!
