Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has you facing off against deadly opponents, one of whom happens to be Zhang Rang. This eunuch has been corrupted by chaos, and he's emboldened by the use of sorcery. Here's our guide to help you beat Zhang Rang in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

How to beat Zhang Rang in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Zhang Rang is the boss of "Fall of the Corrupted Eunuch," the sixth main mission in the campaign. To be clear, there's one sub-boss, Baishe, the snake lady, though she's not too challenging. Anyway, to defeat Zhang Rang in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, you'll want to take note of his cloning magic. Basically, when the fight begins, he'll summon almost a dozen clones, all of whom can use these abilities:

• Light Orbs - Throw multiple orb projectiles that deal damage.
• Linear Lightning - A straight line will appear on the ground, followed by a lightning strike.
• Multi-hit melee attacks - Similar to regular mobs, these clones will also do combo chains.
• Energy Eruption - You'll notice a glow coming from one of your targets and, after a few seconds, an explosion will occur. It's imperative that you move out of the way or you'll take around 350 damage or more.

The Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Zhang Rang boss fight is all about not losing sight of your target. The real Zhang Rang is the only one without an HP bar above the unit's model. That's because his main HP bar is already at the top of your screen.

Now, even if you're going to focus all your DPS, you still need to watch out for the clones. They can still deal damage to you in more ways than one. Moreover, we've noticed that Zhang Rang does resummon his duplicates. We're not sure if this occurs at least once in the fight (i.e., HP threshold) or if it happens whenever all clones are killed.
