Team Ninja has released new information about the upcoming Wo Long Lies of P collaboration, including a release date.
The previously-announced crossover will land in the form of a free update for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on September 27th and will include two new weapons for Team Ninja's Soulslike.
At present, no Wo Long content has been announced for Lies of P, so this is a strictly one-way collaboration, which is unfortunate if you were hoping to wreck some puppets with some ancient Chinese weapons.
Still, you're getting a couple of snazzy new weapons in Wo Long, the first of which is the Puppet's Saber, a curved blade with a guard on its handle.
The saber is pretty cool, but the second new weapon is arguably the best: it's an umbrella, of all things.
Officially called the Etiquette, the umbrella is a "self-defense weapon", according to Team Ninja's description, and it can double up as a shield that will help you block projectiles and other enemy attacks.
This collaboration is part of the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty roadmap, which is promising new content for the Soulslike every month until December.
As well as the Lies of P crossover, that roadmap also contains several free updates and more paid DLC, the second part of which is coming to the game on the same date as the Lies of P crossover.
That DLC will add more stages, weapons, and enemies, as well as plenty more content, so if you're looking for a meatier update to Wo Long, you'll have to fork out for the paid DLC.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is available right now on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. It's also part of Xbox Game Pass.
Team Ninja's game is a pretty tough one, but luckily, we've thrown together some guides to help you with some of its trickiest bosses. You'll also find info on how to optimize your builds, where to find collectibles, and more!
