The House of Mouse continues its push into the tabletop space. After the major success of Disney Lorcana and the ongoing support of Disney Villainous, Disney and Ravensburger have announced an official board game, Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls.

According to an official press release, Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls is a cooperative role-playing board game. The game will feature heroines across popular Disney and Pixar stories as they join forces to defeat a sinister darkness.
The heroines included in Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls are a mix of Disney favorites new and old. We see Moana, Violet from The Incredibles, Robin Hood's Maid Marian, and Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
In the board game's story, these heroines materialize as radiant crystal versions of themselves. They are summoned to a realm threatened by the shadows of infamous villains. Players will need to complete quests, encountering familiar faces and items along the way.
Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls is designed as an entry point into role-playing. Players will have a chance to experience beloved characters in new scenarios. Complimenting this are diverse types of quests as well as a modular board that can generate new adventures.

Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls will be available for pre-order at Target on July 7 and will be available in hobby stores on July 21 at an MSRP of $29.99.
