Roblox has announced its 2023 financial results, and it's been another banner year for the game (if, indeed, it can be called such), with revenue jumping by over 20% year-on-year.

Per a new investor reportRoblox raked in almost $2.8 billion in 2023, which represents a 26% increase over the previous year's revenue.

Bookings were at $3.52 billion, jumping 23% over the previous year, and "net cash provided by operating activities" stood at $458.2 million for 2023.

It's been another incredible year for Roblox in money terms.

Roblox says its average "monthly unique payers" figure stands at 14.5 million for 2023, representing a 17% increase, with average bookings per payer amounting to $81.05.

The Roblox Corporation also released its financial results for the final quarter of 2023 at the same time as its yearly summary, and the quarterly report paints a pretty positive picture for Roblox as well.

Revenue for Q4 2023 was almost $750 million, bookings stood at $1.126 billion, and average daily active users for the period stood at 71.5 million.

Suffice it to say it's been a very strong year for Roblox, but the projections the Roblox Corporation has for the future look even more rosy.

Roblox will continue to grow, if its developers' estimates are anything to go by.

Roblox estimates that it'll hit between $3.3 billion and $3.4 billion in revenue for 2024, and that bookings will hit somewhere between $4.14 and $4.28 billion.

In addition, for the first quarter of 2024 alone, Roblox is aiming for between $755 and $780 million in revenue, as well as a goal of between $910 and $940 million in bookings.

Lest we forget, 2023 was the year in which Roblox finally came to PlayStation consoles, having been available on Xbox since 2015 (although it's still not available on Switch).

It's also the year in which Roblox fans got to enjoy an official crossover with the smash hit musical Hamilton, allowing them to explore a new world themed around Lin-Manuel Miranda's work.

You can grab Roblox right now on PC, Xbox One (and Xbox Series X|S thanks to backwards compatibility), PlayStation consoles, and mobile devices.
