In this guide, we'll tell you how to get Shroud Cores in Enshrouded and the best way that you can reliably farm them for powering up your Flame Altar and crafting important items.
You'll collect loads of resources while you're playing Enshrouded, but some items are more important than others. You'll need rarer loot to craft some of the best stuff and upgrade your Flame Altar, and the Shroud Core is among these valuable drops. In this guide, we'll tell you everything you need to know about Shroud Cores!
How to Get Shroud Cores in Enshrouded
There are two ways to get Shroud Cores in Enshrouded:
- Loot them from enemies
- Craft them
Unfortunately, Shroud Cores tend to drop from boss enemies. If you're looking to get Shroud Cores in quantity in the early game, you're probably going to have to travel to several different Points of Interest in the Shroud to get enough this way.
Can You Craft Shroud Cores?
Yes, you can craft Shroud Cores. You'll need to rescue the Alchemist NPC to do it. Once you do, you can craft Shroud Cores using 10 Shroud Spores and 10 Shroud Liquid to make 1 Shroud Core.
Best Way to Farm Shroud Cores
The best way to get Shroud Cores is to rescue the Alchemist and craft the Shroud Cores. That means you'll have to spend a fair amount of time in Shroud farming both Shroud Spores and Shroud Liquid.
While farming these lesser resources may seem like a lot of trouble, it can be an even bigger pain in the butt to try to get Shroud Cores from minibosses. Though they do respawn, it takes some time for them to come back -- and that means you'll have to travel all over the map to collect Shroud Cores in quantity. It's much more efficient to spend your time and energy killing as many regular mobs as you can in the Shroud while also hunting minibosses at the same time.
